Staff
Mrs Atkinson is the class teacher
Mrs Winn (Monday afternoon Year 1 children, Tuesday afternoon all children)

Timetable
Monday - Year 1 Forest School. (Please bring waterproof trousers, coat and wellies).
Thursday - PE, please send your child to school in PE kit. (If your child has their ears pierced, please make sure they do not come to school wearing earrings on this day).
Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon - EYFS Forest School
We try to get outside to exercise everyday, so please make sure your child has suitable foot wear and a waterproof coat in school everyday.
Curriculum
Our first topic in Fieldmice class this term is Locally Grown which has a Knowledge and Understanding of the World/Geography and DT focus.
All children will be getting to know the routines and expectations of the school day, making new friends and developing their good learning behaviours within our indoor and outdoor provision.
In English we will start by looking at the story of The Gingerbread Man, later in the term we will look at creating an alternative setting for the story Handa's Suprise.
In Maths we will be exploring number and sorting objects. The Year 1 children will be working on place value within 10.
Phonics
EYFS children will start Phonics sessions in week 3. Using Read, Write Inc resources. Year 1 children will be working within their Phonics groups from the first week of the new term.
